ESCALA DE USO DE MATERIAL PORNOGRÁFICO DURANTE ISOLAMENTO SOCIAL
CONSTRUÇÃO E VALIDAÇÃO PSICOMÉTRICA

Este estudo foi conduzido durante a pandemia de COVID-19, declarada pela OMS em março de 2020, com foco nos efeitos do isolamento social sobre o uso de material pornográfico. O objetivo foi construir e validar a Escala de uso de Material Pornográfico Durante o Isolamento Social (EMPDIS), considerando o impacto do isolamento social neste fenômeno. Participaram 447 indivíduos de diferentes regiões do Brasil, que responderam a um questionário online sobre uso de material pornográfico na quarentena e questões sociodemográficas. Para validar o instrumento, foram realizadas análises fatoriais, análise discriminante com a Escala de Desejabilidade Social e avaliação da consistência interna. O estudo detalhou o processo de elaboração da EMPDIS, composta por seis itens que refletem a percepção dos indivíduos sobre seu uso de material sexualmente explícito. Os resultados indicaram que, o instrumento apresentou bons indicadores de adequação fatorial. Ademais, a EMPDIS distingue-se de outros instrumentos por apresentar uma estrutura mais objetiva e considerar a influência do isolamento social como um fator propício para o uso de material pornográfico.
