BUSCA DE INFORMAÇÃO ON-LINE EM SEXUALIDADE POR ADOLESCENTES

Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão de escopo sobre o comportamento de busca de informações on-line sobre sexualidade pelo público adolescente entre 10 e 19 anos. A pesquisa inicial encontrou 1.145 registros distribuídos nas bases BASE, EBSCO, EMBASE, PsycINFO, MEDLINE, Science Direct, Scopus e Web of Science, que, após critérios de elegibilidade, resultaram em oito (8) trabalhos científicos. Os estudos foram analisados por variáveis genéricas e de interesse. Os resultados indicaram que esse comportamento é influenciado por fatores sociodemográficos (como nível socioeconômico, gênero, idade e identidade sexual/orientação) e por variáveis de interesse (plataformas on-line utilizadas, motivações, confiança na fonte, temas pesquisados e formas de uso das informações). Também foram observadas questões emocionais entre adolescentes como confusão, frustração e ansiedade, associadas ao comportamento de busca de informações sobre sexualidade. Essas descobertas reforçam a necessidade de incluir letramento em saúde e mídia nas estratégias de educação em sexualidade, bem como a importância de ampliar os estudos que avaliem esse comportamento de forma abrangente. Recomenda-se o uso de amostras robustas que relacionem variáveis individuais e contextuais de adolescentes ao comportamento de busca de informações sobre sexualidade, desde as motivações até a aplicabilidade das informações.
