Cervical cancer generates difficulties in sexual dynamics, whose origin may be related to the symptoms of the disease, cancer treatment, among other situations that cause distress, fear and thus compromise the quality of life. The aim of this study was to investigate the performance and sexual satisfaction of women who completed treatment for cervical cancer. A prospective, observational, cross-sectional and descriptive study was carried out with the participation of 24 women undergoing combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Sociodemographic, clinical and sexual performance data were analyzed using descriptive statistics using frequency, means, medians and standard deviations. The results showed that there was a predominance of brown women (58.3%), with more than 9 years of study (62.5%), single (66.7%) and protestant and catholic religion (70.8%). Most (87%) had advanced disease, all of which underwent combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy. These results indicated sexual dysfunction among almost a third (29.1%) of women after treatment, according to the Quociente Sexual Feminino (QS-F), with sexual performance ranging from null to regular and impairment in all phases of sexual response. Even among those with regular performance, there may be a lack of guidance to improve sexual satisfaction, especially after cancer treatment. For all women affected by cervical cancer, the possible effects of treatment on sexual function, as well as management possibilities, should be presented. In the case of sexual dysfunction, specialized multidisciplinary care should be provided.
