Abstract

Opening speech of the XIII Brazilian Congress of Human Sexology, in Londrina in 2011. The subject Love is conceptualized at diverse periods and by different approaches. It also has emphasis in the Greek thought and in the amplitude that the word love means for our society. The love is not restricted to the feeling between two people and is seen in a vision of love to care with all creatures in the world.
