The article presents an overview of the difficulties that arise for different disciplines can talk to promoting understanding of the construction of sexuality in all its complexity, in general, and its implications for the issue of confronting prejudice and discrimination on sexual diversity (LGBT). Reviews the theory of "sexual scripts" Gagnon & Simon (1973) and outlines an overview of the assumptions underlying the "Queer Theory", highlighting the influence that the authors in search of a new approach to epistemological that one can produce a new framework for the issue of prejudice and discrimination against sexual diversity.
