Objective: To identify the occurrence of sexual dysfunction among female nursing students using oral hormonal contraceptives. Methods: Descriptive, exploratory, cross-sectional study involving 61 undergraduate Nursing students. A form with sociodemographic data and the Female Sexual Quotient questionnaire were applied. Data were entered into an Excel spreadsheet, and descriptive and comparative analysis between variables were performed. Results: The occurrence of sexual dysfunction was not significant; however, 47.9% of the participants reported a sexual performance ranging from regular to good. The questions with low scores were related to sexual desire and interest, comfort, orgasm, and satisfaction. It was concluded that 65.6% of the participants were characterized as suitable for screening for female sexual dysfunction, which may be related to the use of oral contraceptives. Conclusions: It is important for these women to perceive their sexual performance and recognize how satisfactory it has been or if they consider it subject to investigation.
