Abstract

Faity tales are popular narratives that contemplate the human relations from a fantastical perspective and language. They are strongly influenced by romantic love ideals and by gender issues, especially in the way how romantic relationship are presented. This paper emphasizes the feminine role in these stories, especially in the classic fairy tales, and how it has changed until the twenty-first century, based on film productions.
