This study intends on understanding the feminine point of view of transitioning gender ideals by the dialectic relationship between living and the construction of change and getting to know how hegemonic femininity and masculinity relate, as well as their roles in possibilities of being and the establishment of bonds. We have done a historical and transcultural study to better understand feminine roles. Then we applied a qualitative questionnaire to people who considered themselves women in different Brazilian regions, with various ages, biological genders and sexualities, as well as religions and professions. This study shows that femininity is really passing through a period of transition noticed by our subjects, whether by living it or struggling for their rights. It is also clearly understood that gender roles as a whole are changing, and freeing each and every one to live gender as it pleases.
