This article discusses the manifestations about gender and sexuality roles of boys / girls of five / six years of a nursery school from analysis and discussion of scenes from the movie Spider - Man. Although such an artifact is preferred by boys of the class, such cultural text, here conceived as cultural pedagogy, dictates models of conduct for boys and girls. In the speech of the boys, it was evident how much they internalized what is claimed as socially placed behavior appropriate to men: valor, imposition of the will at any cost, the condition of women while in need of male protection, among others that define masculinity hegemonic. The teacher of the class recognizes that training is necessary to instrumentalize the teaching staff to deal with the issue of sexuality and that, because they do not know how to deal with some situations that occur, they end up acting by instinct. It is noticed that the school, due to the teachers’ unpreparedness, often acts in order to reinforce some stereotypes. It was used, in this work, the contributions of Feminist Studies and Cultural Studies in a post structuralist perspective of analysis.
