Abstract

The hypothesis proposed by this work is that sexuality is only human. That is why the expression "human sexuality", frequently used in scientific references of the speciality as well as of other groups, goes against the development of a particular science. That is because it proposes as valid an old confusion of reducing the complex life experience/phenomenon that sexuality means, to just sex. That is the reason why this work presents argumentations against the redundancy of "human" +"sexuality", considering it an obstacle to the development of a science of Sexuality. In other words, it argues in favor of the idea that it does not exist other sexuality than human. We also propose an epistemological position about the necessity of developing a particular science of Sexuality.
