THE IMPACT OF THE MATERNITY IN THE FEMININE SEXUALITY

Abstract

Based on the literature, this article has the objective to verify the more relevant impacts that the maternity causes on the woman’s sexuality and consequently in the relationship with her partner since this moment set the transition from conjugality to parenthood. Therefore, it’s necessary to explain the psychological aspects of the child-birth and the postpartum, critical periods and quite complex, as well as the repercussion of the changes in the woman’s body scheme in the puerperium and the breastfeeding in her sexuality. Finally, another point to be highlighted is the recapture of the primipary sexual life, since most of the time this restart is unsatisfactory.
