The present study aims to evaluate the importance of technology in promoting the quality of life of the elderly in their social interactions, whether to socialize with others, or to find partners in order to share stories and build moments, through of a bibliographic review carried out in different databases through internet access and bibliographic survey in magazines, articles and periodicals. In view of the aging of the Brazilian population, there is an increasing demand from the long-standing public to learn more about technologies, with the need to restructure services in learning and inclusion in the social networks and applications of their interests. These are necessary demands so that they can respond to their needs, since this age group has been representing significant numbers in the use of technology. The long-lived public, according to the surveys, has been advancing every year with regard to services related to technology, such as travel applications, socializations and relationships. It shows that it manages to break taboos on sexuality, proves its sexual abilities still present and removes the stigma of asexual elderly. It doesn’t matter if it’s just a day, once, a night, a hug, a five o’clock tea, a kiss and bye, the important thing is that technology has brought these moments together and a story begins with a simple and quick gesture.
