ACT CENTRADA EN LA COMPASIÓN EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE DISFUNCIONES SEXUALES FEMENINAS

UNA REVISIÓN DE ALCANCE

Resumen

Intervenciones psicoterapéuticas contextuales, como la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT) y Terapia Centrada en la Compasión (CFT), son relevantes en el tratamiento de disfunciones sexuales femeninas (DSF). La ACT centrada en la compasión, que integra estos enfoques, ha sido aplicada en diversos contextos patológicos, pero poco explorada con DSF. El objetivo de esta revisión de alcance fue mapear la aplicabilidad de la ACT centrada en la compasión en las DSF, identificando procesos coincidentes entre ambos enfoques. Se analizaron doce publicaciones, divididas en dos submuestras: seis relacionadas con ACT y las demás con intervenciones basadas en la compasión. Los procesos coincidentes identificados fueron mindfulness, defusión y atención al momento presente. La efectividad de usar ACT enfocada en la compasión se confirma en el trastorno de dolor genitopélvico/penetración (TDGP), especialmente en la vulvodinia localizada y provocada. No hay suficientes datos sobre otros trastornos. Las investigaciones futuras deben enfocarse en diagnósticos realizados por profesionales y en la patología subyacente del TDGP como objetivo específico de la intervención. Se sugiere llevar a cabo estudios comparativos entre ACT, CFT y ACT centrada en la compasión en pacientes con DSF, usando herramientas comprobadas para medir la compasión y la flexibilidad psicológica en situaciones sexuales.
