Abstract

This work is part of the theme "Education and Citizenship" and invests in the report of an intervention with teachers and other professionals who attend teenagers in periphery schools in Londrina, Paraná. Interventions reported circumscribed discussions about expressions of sexualities, genders and embodiments in the educational context, and the primary goals were questioning realities experienced by them as much as produce contexts that would allow access to information about issues of genders construction (male/female) and conditions of self-care (regarding the prevention practice of venereal diseases/HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancy prevention, among others), fight and confront discrimination and bias against LGBT public or who are presumed to be, among others.
