Abstract

How do we build a man? Which way, the possible answers to this question can lead us to face illness? Putting together the results from the research "Construction of male (sick) teenager and the condom use in Natal/RN". The subjects of this research were 15 male teenagers, aged 14 to 24 years old, living in Natal/RN. They were chosen according to a social, cultural and economical contrast, as well as school levels. The methodological strategies used were based on interviews in depth with thematic script were used. They were followed by workshops, with projective techniques. The analysis treatment was supported by a hermeneutic interpretation. Indeed, the article argues around the stereotypes of male maintained by male teens which put themselves in risk behaviors, when we analyze sexual life for example, making themselves susceptible to ckness.
