THE UNIVERSE OF SEX AND THE NEW FAMILIES

The development of structures in new families and their sexuality consists a very current theme, once divorces are much more frequent in our social scene. ln consequence of these separations, the search for new relationships emerges, the results initiates the new relationship configurations, among them is the remarriage. The present article, which goes through the work of Peggy Papp and Schnarch as conceptual apparatus, describes the profile of couples that bet on this kind of relationship, aiming at attributing a proceeding definition to this new relationship configuration. Simultaneously,the work observes the maturity degree of couples in the first union and also at remarriage, comparing the priorities, as well as the affective and sexual expectations of each phase. Finally, it contemplates the matter of children came upon former marriages, regarding the re-adaptation of referentials (former and current), making evident the conflicts that may occur when new familiar arrangements are being built.
