Abstract

It's study analyzes the sexual behavior modifications of HIV infected women. It's about a descriptive, qualitative research, that uses the focused interview as instrument of data collection. The data treatment is endorsed in the speeches analysis technique. It's results indicate that infected women contradict the virus for the sexual way, in heterosexuals and monogamous relationships. The women live deeply with sexuality conflict, from fear to develop its health condition and to move away the not infected partner. The sexual abstinence is present and the sexual relations, when they occur, present dysfunction in the sexual answer. The prevention, after the infection, started to be primordial in the life's women. It's necessary to provide the right sexual health and full sexuality experience for HIV infected women. A new reflection on this question will only extend the dimension of what is to live and to coexist with the virus.
