ANÁLISIS DE LA PREVALENCIA DEL CONSUMO DE CONTENIDOS SEXUALMENTE EXPLÍCITOS Y SU RELACIÓN CON EL PERFIL DE PERSONALIDAD DE LOS USUARIOS

El contenido sexualmente explícito muestra desnudez o actos sexuales con el objetivo de provocar excitación. A pesar de su amplia difusión, la relación entre su consumo y los rasgos de personalidad, como los postulados por la teoría de los “Big Three” de Hans Eysenck (extraversión, neuroticismo y psicoticismo), sigue siendo poco explorada. Este estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la prevalencia del consumo de estos contenidos entre estudiantes de un curso del área de la salud en una universidad del sur de Brasil y analizar sus perfiles de personalidad. Se realizó un estudio transversal y cuantitativo con 214 estudiantes de medicina. Se aplicaron tres instrumentos: un cuestionario sociodemográfico, el Cuestionario de Consumo de Contenidos Sexualmente Explícitos (Q-CCSE) y el Cuestionario de Personalidad de Eysenck Revisado y Abreviado (EPQR-A). El análisis inferencial utilizó la prueba de chi-cuadrado de Pearson, la prueba U de Mann-Whitney y la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis, con procesamiento de datos realizado en el software R versión 4.2.1. Los resultados indicaron una mayor frecuencia de consumo entre individuos con rasgos de extraversión y neuroticismo, lo que sugiere que estas características pueden influir en la búsqueda de estímulos sexuales y en la regulación emocional. Además, la identidad de género (p < 0,001) y la orientación sexual (p = 0,008) mostraron una asociación estadísticamente significativa con el consumo. Estos hallazgos destacan la complejidad de la interacción entre la individualidad psicológica y el consumo de contenidos sexualmente explícitos, reforzando la necesidad de investigaciones adicionales sobre las implicaciones de los rasgos de personalidad en este contexto.
