ANÁLISE DA PREVALÊNCIA DE CONSUMO DE CONTEÚDOS SEXUALMENTE EXPLÍCITOS E SUA RELAÇÃO COM O PERFIL DE PERSONALIDADE DOS USUÁRIOS

Os conteúdos sexualmente explícitos exibem nudez ou atos sexuais com o objetivo de provocar excitação. Apesar de sua ampla difusão, a relação entre seu consumo e traços de personalidade, como os postulados pela teoria “Big Three” de Hans Eysenck (extroversão, neuroticismo e psicoticismo), ainda é pouco explorada. Este estudo objetiva estabelecer a prevalência do consumo desses conteúdos entre acadêmicos de um curso da área da saúde de uma universidade do Sul do Brasil e determinar o perfil de personalidade dos usuários. Trata-se de um estudo transversal e quantitativo, com 214 estudantes de medicina. Foram aplicados um questionário sociodemográfico, o Questionário de Consumo de Conteúdos Sexualmente Explícitos (Q-CCSE) e o Questionário de Personalidade Eysenck Revisado e Abreviado (EPQR-A). A análise inferencial utilizou os testes qui-quadrado de Pearson, U de Mann-Whitney e Kruskal-Wallis, com processamento dos dados no software R 4.2.1. Os resultados indicaram maior frequência de consumo entre indivíduos com traços de extroversão e neuroticismo, sugerindo que tais características podem influenciar a busca por estímulos sexuais e a regulação emocional. Além disso, identidade de gênero (p < 0,001) e orientação sexual (p = 0,008) apresentaram associação estatisticamente significativa com o consumo. Esses achados destacam a complexidade da interação entre a individualidade psicológica e o consumo de conteúdos sexualmente explícitos, reforçando a necessidade de aprofundar investigações sobre as implicações dos traços de personalidade nesse contexto.
